Sumanth Ashwin is back with his latest flick titled Right Right. This is an official remake of Malayalam film Ordinary, the film also includes Kalakeya Prabhakar and has hit the screens today. Letís review it.
A young boy Ravi (Sumanth Ashwin) wants to become a police officer. But, he joins as a bus conductor in a small village due to his financial problems. Seshu (Prabhakar) works as a driver for that bus. Ravi has good rapport with driver and also the passengers who travel in their bus. One day, Ravi hears a sound in front of the bus and thinks that they hit someone, shockingly they see a person severely injured. Frightened with this incident, they stops a jeep on the road and request them to take the injured person to hospital, and they leave that place. Next morning, they find the dead body of the same person in a canal. How did he die? Who murdered him? Who is that person? Watch the film to get answers for these questions.
All these days, Sumanth Ashwin played lover boy characters, now he got a chance to prove his acting skills by changing his tone and acting skills. The roles played by Sumanth and Prabhakar does not suit them, and their screen presence will not attract audience. Pooja Jhaveri has limited screen presence and has nothing much to perform. But, she looks pretty in the songs. Comedians Shakalaka Shankar and Tagubothu Ramesh got wasted. Dhanraj, Nasser, Raja Ravindra and Bharat Reddy are good at their respective roles.
Camera work is brilliant as all the locations and village nativity is showcased well. Music by JB is okay. The production values of the film seems good. Editing is okay, but couple of the scenes and songs could have been chopped off. Now coming to the director Manu, he does a poor job as a new comer. Even though he has selected a remake, but he failed to execute properly. The proceedings in the first half of the film is slow, a gripping screenplay could have been changed the outcome of the film.
Interesting storyline but poor execution
